Ammunition prices are soaring,
according to Reuters. The wire service says the price of copper, zinc and lead are all high these days, resulting in increased ammo prices.
No doubt some will try to find police and military angles to this story, but the cost of bullets is such a tiny part of any government department budget that it pales next to the cost of personnel or, in the case of the military, the cost of logistics.
Still, it is an interesting sportsman story. I suspect rising prices will lead more people to do their own bullet reloads.
