Leaving Bloglines

Bloglines
Bloglines.com
Bloggers are reporting that the popular feed reader service Bloglines has been down a lot lately.
Today I did something I could not have imagined even this morning. After two years of decent service by the free RSS feed reader service Bloglines, I left. Why? They were gone -- at least they were not updating their feeds for most of the day. Suddenly my window on the online world was gone. Work came to a standstill.

Fortunately, I could download the file containing my subscriptions. So I imported by subscriptions into Google Reader and got that running.

I still feel a bit bad about this act of brand disloyalty, but that might be over by tomorrow.

What did you do? Are you still waiting for Bloglines to get their act together? At their home page there is not even a sign of an explanation.
