Yesterday,
El País (one of the best known Spanish newspapers) debuted its site redesign. It's been four years since the last change.
Using some of the most stable new technologies, the redesigned site offers RSS feeds, blogs, podcasts, video, tag clouds, PDA and mobile access, a Creative Commons license for non-commercial use, and even, a new Internet domain: elpais.com.
What's left? Getting its users accustomed to all those new features, and fitting those features on the screen. El País began by switching to a 1,204-pixel screen width, and also switching from a vertical to a horizontal section navigation bar.
Of course, they also are apologizing in case something doesn't work right today.
