Leadership Academy.
An award-winning broadcast news executive, Weiss formerly served as executive producer of the NPR News magazine
All Things Considered and headed the NPR News National Desk. During her talk, she noted the importance of noticing different people's needs in the newsroom and spoke about changes she has made at NPR since becoming vice president in April.
