Jim Thresher, whose anonymous Wal-Marting Across America
blog was underwritten by Working Families for Wal-Mart, says: "Maybe it's something I shouldn't have done, in hindsight, obviously, but I didn't think I was out there compromising the Washington Post. It really seemed harmless." Thresher had permission from his boss to do the blog, but never told him about the Working Families group's involvement.
