identifying himself as a CBS News foreign correspondent. He was busted by University of Georgia journalism prof and former NBC News correspondent
David Hazinski. Gilbert tells a campus group that booked him: "I claimed to be something that I am not, that is, a full-time Middle East Correspondent for CBS News. You were duped by me and for that I am truly sorry. There is no excuse that I can offer -- all I can do is take full responsibility and ask for your forgiveness."
