The Newspaper Guild of Greater Philadelphia voted 498-69 to approve the contract, but also passed a voice resolution declaring "no confidence" in the goals of the Inquirer and Daily News owners, "no faith" in their labor relations, and "no stomach to hear any more of their cheerful prattle."
