From New York Times assistant managing editor/enterprise
Glenn Kramon's Q-and-A:
Q. The Washington Post's expose on the Walter Reed Medical Center's terrible conditions for outpatients has turned out to be the story of the year so far. Do you view this as getting scooped? How often do you get scooped by the other newspapers on major stories like this?
A. Yes. The Washington Post's work on Walter Reed has been extraordinary — a model of enterprise work. I'm envious. And proud of The Post, and of journalism.
