Business 2.0 writers get first checks based on blog traffic

Editor Josh Quittner says a handful of reporters at the magazine received checks in the area of $2,000 to $2,500. (They're paid $2.50 for every 1,000 page views their blogs received.) The top blog in terms of page views is Business 2.0 Beta, written by Owen Thomas. The No. 2 blog in terms of page views is the Apple 2.0 blog written by new executive editor Philip Elmer-Dewitt.
