Rolling Stone, they contend, has regained its mainstream relevance and "returned its focus to thought-out profiles of musicians and in-depth, expressive political features." Esquire makes the list, even though "it's not as solid as it was in the '70s, but neither are rock 'n' roll and the Miami Dolphins."
