Conrad Black and wife
Barbara Amiel asked
Roger Ebert what he'd do with the Sun-Times if he owned it. Ebert told them the paper should forget trying to out-Republican the Tribune and return to its liberal roots. The film critic saw Black and Amiel glance at each other and raise their eyebrows, as if to say, "We'll see about that."
