Richard Rosenfeld of the University of Missouri says of the annual city crime rankings, published by Poynter's CQ Press: "I find it ironic, somewhat astounding that a publication that ranks cities by their crime rates, anointing some as safe and others as dangerous, would have the gall to, on the first page of the publication, remind everyone that such rankings are meaningless." || Read more "OTM"
