All newspapers are not created equal and it is naïve to condemn all with the fate of the few." || More from McGuire's speech:
* It's time for newspapers and every other adult working on the web to realize and admit that we are not fostering democracy when we encourage and enable vicious, anonymous comments.
* I refuse to join the Jeff Jarvis Kill the Newspaper camp. ...I understand Jarvis' attempt at being a super-provocateur, but I don't buy it.
* The newspaper will eventually die and so will you! The fountain pen died and we still write for heaven's sakes!
