The 56th Bilderberg meeting of billionaires, bankers, politicians, government officials, journalists and others was held in Chantilly, Va. last weekend, and, "as in previous years, Bilderberg critics are berating the mainstream press for observing a 'blackout' of a group they believe directs a secret, shadow government," writes Jack Shafer. "Yet to be fair to the mainstream press, it's tough to report from a private gathering locked down tight by professional security."
