Farnaz Fassihi's e-mail to friends about conditions in Iraq was
leaked to Romenesko, then posted on numerous blogs. "I have written this book in the same spirit as I wrote that e-mail," she says. Her book is titled "Waiting for an Ordinary Day: The Unraveling of Life in Iraq." Fassihi is now
reporting from Beirut.
