Poynter President Karen Brown Dunlap has been selected as commencement speaker for the Eckerd College graduation ceremonies May 21.
Dunlap, who earned a Ph.D. in mass communications from the University of Tennessee and has served as Poynter president since 2003, will be awarded an honorary degree by Eckerd.
