Eric Maierson at MediaStorm has put together a guide to iPad video compression that provides a nice workflow for optimizing video in H.264 for the iPad using Compressor. Even if you’ve never used Compressor, which can be a bear to get started using, the screen grabs, settings and step-by-step instructions make it much less intimidating. Looking over the settings, without testing it myself, it seems like a good starting place for any large-screen WiFi video you may be producing.
