Chloe Nguyen

Chloe Nguyen, a fellow with WRAL News in North Carolina, is an Alice M. Baldwin Scholar and Nakayama Scholar from Duke University. A senior, she is passionate about understanding how technology and media exacerbate the psychological and social drivers of political polarization in diverse communities.

At Duke, she works as the Braver Angels student fellow to facilitate political conversations across differences and founded the Duke Justice Project, an organization dedicated to assisting formerly incarcerated community members with re-entry. Previously, she worked as a reporter with the 9th Street Journal and as a research assistant with the Peace and Conflict Neuroscience Lab at the University of Pennsylvania.
