A starter kit for newsrooms

In 2024, Poynter created a framework for newsrooms that had not yet adopted an ethics policy for how they would and would not use AI in their work. The “starter kit” allows newsrooms to design policies that serve their audiences and their values, guided by general principles of …. They can continue to build on the framework and expand their policies. Poynter is asking newsrooms to share with us the guidelines we create.
