Jamese Branch

Jamese Branch is the development specialist at Poynter Institute, where she promotes teaching offerings and boosts alumni and donor engagement. She shapes and executes fundraising strategies, and supports key brands like PolitiFact and MediaWise.

Previously, Branch worked at Fort Worth Report on their audience and business teams, honing her skills in marketing and events. She now leads campaigns to enhance donor and client acquisition, retention, and revenue.

Branch is a member of the inaugural cohort of CUNY’s Emerging News Leadership Program. She earned her degree in media studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
