Dr. Eliot West is an independent editor and educator with a specialty in inclusive language and storytelling. Eliot works with romance and fantasy fiction, scholarly nonfiction, digital interactive fiction, children’s nonfiction and more. They hold a doctorate in English literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a focus on literary theory and the novel … but their real education has been in collaborating with fellow editors, working with students and getting their hands dirty in manuscripts as texts grow into themselves.
