Around the world, newspaper front pages on Saturday captured the horror of the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado that killed 12 people and injured dozens more. On Sunday, many newspaper front pages focused instead on the upcoming Olympics or other local news. In Colorado, New York and Slovenia, the front pages featured victims and mourners.

AP Photojournalist Barry Gutierrez, who captured this image, told Wired magazine, “He was screaming at the top his lungs, ‘Have you seen my son?’ It was so gut-wrenching, it rocked me right to my bones. I couldn’t imagine what he was going through.”
