Las Vegas Review-Journal | Las Vegas Sun

Las Vegas Sun Editor and Publisher Brian Greenspun filed a suit Tuesday “alleging his own family members conspired with Stephens Media, operator of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, to end a Joint Operating Agreement that has been in place for 24 years and governs publication of the two newspapers,” Howard Stutz reports.

Under the terms of that agreement, which was renegotiated in 2005, The Las Vegas Sun is distributed with the Review-Journal as an advertising-free supplement.

The reported change, which Greenspun says he voted against in a family meeting, “could effectively end the print edition of the of the Las Vegas Sun, although the Greenspuns could attempt to print the newspaper on their own,” Stutz writes.
