Today’s front page of the day comes from The Grand Rapids Press in Grand Rapids, Michigan. On Monday, the newspaper led with the 40th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. The page includes names of the crew and final words that came across the radio as the ship sank, killing all aboard. Via Newseum:

The Fitzgerald left Wisconsin on Nov. 9, The Grand Rapids Press reports, and sank in a hurricane the next day. On Monday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also led with the anniversary of the disaster.
