Washingtonpost.com video journalist Travis Fox has done an
incredible job documenting the tsunami zone in Aceh Province,
Indonesia, one year after the disaster that killed more than 131,000
people in that country. On a special webpage
devoted to the tsunami one year later are a collection of Fox’s video
mini-documentaries and a series of 360-degree panoramic images of the
scene in Aceh today.
This is a great presentation featuring Fox’s visual content, and design and production by the website’s Nelson Hsu.
Fox is one of a handful of multimedia journalists (NYTimes.com’s Naka Nathaniel also pops to mind) who are leading the way for the news industry in finding new and better ways to tell stories on the Web.
