Johanna Crowl

I am a junior studying international relations, graphic design and Spanish at American University in Washington, D.C. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to my studies, I am involved in a professional international service sorority (Delta Phi Epsilon) and I work part-time as a Starbucks barista. I love the outdoors, but I am allergic to everything in nature. In my free time I enjoy practicing modern calligraphy, embossing and trying new recipes.

I’m excited to be joining the MediaWise Voter Project as a campus correspondent. I’ve always had a passion for engaging voters in our democracy through efforts such as voter registration. I believe that through participating in this project, we can help to establish an informed electorate of young voters when they head to the polls for the first time.
