Vox.com, working with Decision Desk HQ, was one of the first news outlets to call the election

Vox.com, which partners with Decision Desk HQ to call election results, was one of the first (and, as this was published, still one of the only) news organizations to declare Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election.

Vox made the call at 8:53 a.m. Eastern.

In a Vox.com article, senior politics correspondent Andrew Prokop explained Decision Desk HQ’s call.
