Asra Nomani, who is teaching the “Pearl Project” class at Georgetown, wants her students to finish the work the FBI started after Daniel Pearl was murdered. “The FBI says this is an open investigation, but in talking to officials, it’s clear there’s no work being done on the ground,” she says. “The FBI has moved on to other priorities.” Abigail Pesta reports some of the students’ parents worry about the grisly nature of what their kids are researching.
