Newsday
Newsday journalists Matthew McAllester and Moises Saman, who had been missing in Iraq since last week, crossed the border into Jordan today and said they were safe and in good health. Freelance photographers Molly Bingham and Johan Rydeng Spanner, who also have been missing, were with the two Newsday staffers. MSNBC.com reports Bingham’s father contacted Tom Brokaw with the news. Barry Bingham Jr. wrote a plea for his daughter’s safe return that was published in today’s Courier-Journal.
