Adele Streissguth serves as the Marketing and Communications Lead at The Poynter Institute. Prior to this role, she worked as a copywriter at a marketing agency specializing in services for IT organizations domestically and internationally. She holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Sociology from The University of York, where her dissertation explored the cultural impact of American business values on Japanese workplace environments, inspired by her time spent working as a teacher in Tokyo, Japan. She lives in Clearwater, Florida, and enjoys traveling, visiting museums and attending live music performances.
