Dan Salamone is the Director of Local Content Development at Nexstar Media Group. He oversees the news and marketing efforts in 20 markets, including audience research, talent development and strategic planning. Prior to Nexstar, Salamone helped to retool the morning news at Fox 32 in Chicago. He has also served as News Directors in Detroit; Cleveland, Portland, Oregon; Albuquerque; Providence; and Springfield, Massachusetts. In 2020, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Media Management from the University of Missouri. His Bachelor of Arts was earned at Emerson College.
