Jacqueline Marino is a professor of journalism at Kent State University where she teaches writing, ethics and the business of journalism. Her academic work on the digital evolution of storytelling has been published in Journalism: Theory, Practice, and Criticism and Literary Journalism Studies. Her articles and essays have appeared in Cleveland Magazine, River Teeth, and The Washington Post. She is the author of “White Coats: Three Journeys through an American Medical School” (The Kent State University Press, 2012) and the editor of “Car Bombs to Cookie Tables: The Youngstown Anthology,” (Belt Publishing, 2nd edition, 2020).
