Jenessa Farnsworth is 22 years old and from Idaho Falls, Idaho. She attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she worked as a copyeditor and designer for the school's newspaper, The Daily Universe. Jenessa also has experience writing articles for The Daily Universe.

Jenessa was a late starter in the world of journalism, only developing an interest in it in 2002 during her senior year of high school. She had no specific beat while working for the high school paper, but upon her induction to The Daily Universe, she covered on- and off-campus music and bookstore events on the Arts and Culture desk.
