Masato Kajimoto is an Assistant Professor at Journalism and Media Studies Centre, the University of Hong Kong, who specializes in news literacy education in the Asia Pacific region. He has led seminars and workshops on social media verification in many Asian cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur and Yangon. Dr. Kajimoto is the chief producer of the massive open online course Making Sense of the News: News Literacy Lessons for Digital Citizens on Coursera. He is also an Affiliate Professor at the Center for News Literacy, School of Journalism, Stony Brook University.
