I am a fulltime consultant to news organizations around the world, currently working with clients in Chicago, Nairobi, and Manchester U.K. In addition, I serve as a Visiting Faculty member at Poynter, teaching in 4 programs per year. Previously at Poynter, I was Director of Visual Journalism and faculty member (1994-99). I conduct customized staff training and redesigns for news organizations around the world. I'm a journalism grad with design and business sensibilities, and have worked with the largest newspapers in Brazil, Iceland and Singapore, as well as 3,000-circulation weeklies in the rural United States.
