Sara Satullo graduated from the University of Delaware in the spring of 2006 with a bachelor's in English and a concentration in journalism with a political science minor. While attending Delaware, Sara wrote for the university paper as a staff reporter and then as national/state news desk editor. During her summer and winter breaks she held three very different but rewarding internships: first with the Knight Ridder Inc. news bureau at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, then at the Philadelphia weekly City Paper and most recently with the Express-Times, a 50,000 circulation Newhouse daily in Easton, Pa. Growing up in a family of journalists, Sara believes that, for her, it isn't just a career, but a life calling. After spending a semester wandering the South Bank of London and traversing Europe, she's found an insatiable urge to travel has been born, which she'd love to satisfy by spending some time overseas as a foreign correspondent. Eventually, she hopes to end up working as a political reporter at a major daily newspaper in an urban area.
