Tracie Powell is the founder of The Pivot Fund. A 2021 research fellow at Shorenstein Center at Harvard Kennedy School, she holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a degree in journalism and mass communication from The University of Georgia. A member of the Georgia News Collaborative board, she is the former board chair of LION Publishers and former manager of the Borealis Philanthropy Racial Equity in Journalism Fund.
