What are the different course types and how do they work?
Webinars: Mainly one-way communication, for live webinars. This means an instructor and/or moderators speaking to the group and participants have the opportunity to submit questions via chat. After the program, a video replay will be available on the course page.
This type of course does not include interaction with an instructor.
A session recording is usually posted to a course page afterward and can be accessed for reference.
Self-Directed Course: Limited communication with an instructor. The participant works through the course on their own time from anywhere in the world.
These courses contain readings, activities, and/or video replays. They may also include drills or quizzes.
Online Group Seminar: An instructor guides the group, moderates discussions and can provide individual feedback. The group meets virtually on pre-set dates and times.
A session recording is usually posted to a course page afterward and can be accessed for reference.
In-Person: Instructors meet and guide a group in the same location for in-person learning. This type of program has the most interaction with instructors and other participants.
