Angelica Obioha

Angelica Obioha is the managing editor at The Sacramento Observer. Obioha has a decade of newsroom experience as a reporter and editor working to create a wide range of stories for radio, television and digital platforms. She came to the Observer from iHeart Media’s 24/7 News Network. A graduate of Michigan State University’s School of Journalism, Obioha began her career as a reporter at HOM-TV in Lansing, Michigan. Obioha has also held editorial roles at WILS and WQHH, where she handled day-to-day production details and aspects of reporting — from how stories are conceptualized to how they engage the communities affected.
