Ariane Datil

Ariane is a VERIFY Host, writing stories and appearing in video for both broadcast TV and digital. Ariane is also the lead host for VERIFY’s popular Tik Tok channel and weekly Snapchat Discover show.

Prior to joining the VERIFY team, Ariane worked at WUSA9, the CBS affiliate in DC, where she helped launch a primetime newscast, covered social justice protests, the Capitol insurrection and a series on earthquakes in Puerto Rico, where she earned a Regional Murrow and multiple Emmy Awards.

Ariane is a graduate of Wake Forest University and also studied International Fashion Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Ariane is based in Washington, D.C. where she loves exploring new foods and taking her kayak named Zeke out on the water.
