Arina Lekht is a seasoned Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) professional with over 17 years experience in overseeing and enhancing MEL operations for international and domestic projects. Arina brings creativity and technical expertise to her work as she contributes to refining program indicators, developing data collection and reporting systems, as well as defining and operationalizing indicator collection strategies. Throughout her career, she has managed M&E on a diversity of projects; from community-based HIV programs to a $230 million USAID cross-bureau global health project operating in over 40 countries. Prior to her current role, Arina oversaw MEL unit staff and operations for a Global Engagement Center-funded project aimed at supporting independent media overseas to counter Russian disinformation and malign influence. Arina holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in M&E from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development with a concentration in Economics from The George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs.
