Brooke is responsible for project managing multi-year teaching contracts and grants, ensuring successful planning, collaboration, execution, reporting, and compliance.

Most of Brooke’s career has been as a lead player in project management, system design, change management initiatives, and strategic planning for nonprofits and government agencies. While Brooke is a St. Pete native, most of her life has been spent in New England, New York City, and most recently, California. Her time in Santa Cruz was devoted to homelessness response through various nonprofits and government entities in both operational and executive leadership roles, notably as a project manager for Downtown Streets Team and interim managing director at Housing Santa Cruz County. She and her husband moved back to St. Pete in 2022 to be closer to her family.

Brooke started her nonprofit career as a researcher for Project Vote Smart, a nonpartisan voter information organization, and later worked as a political media analyst for Media Tenor, an international media monitoring organization. She was also a stringer for the St. Pete Times in Citrus County.

Brooke has a masters in nonprofit administration from the Baruch School of Public & International Affairs and studied political theory and the influence of the mass media in our society at Eugene Lang College, of the New School in New York City.
