Elizabeth Hamilton

Elizabeth Hamilton is the executive editor of the Connecticut Mirror, a statewide, nonprofit news organization covering public policy and politics. Prior to joining the Mirror in 2018, Hamilton spent 20 years in Connecticut newsrooms, including a decade at The Hartford Courant, where she won numerous awards for her investigative reporting. Hamilton has a degree in history from the University of Connecticut, an MFA from Southern Connecticut State University, and is a published poet whose work includes a poem cycle, “Iseult Speaks,” which was set to music and performed at the Mark Twain House by the Hartford Chamber Orchestra in 2016.
