Erin Peterson

Erin Peterson is the Director of Innovation at WXIA/ TEGNA. Her high-impact investigations are featured on TEGNA’s 60 TV stations. Millions have watched her stories which helped change local and federal laws. The U.S. State Department uses her series, “Selling Girls,” in training. The “Today Show,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” and A&E’s “Intervention” all featured her work. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Peterson worked at local TV stations in Toledo, Flint, Houston and Atlanta, as well as CNN and HLN. She has won 25 Emmy Awards, 2 National Murrows, a Cronkite, and 4 Gracie awards. Peterson is also yoga instructor and mentors collegiate women as a sorority advisor for Alpha Phi.
