Gabe Echazabal

Gabe Echazabal is the Director Human Resources and Administration at The Poynter Institute. Gabe was formerly an Associate Director of Human Resources for a local county government office and brings many years of experience to this role. Gabe holds a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification and is a graduate of the CPM (Certified Public Manager) program from FSU’s Askew School of Public Administration.

Gabe is passionate about music and is a freelance music writer and a Senior Music Correspondent for a local arts and culture publication. Gabe is an avid music collector and live music fan and lives in Tampa with his partner.
