John Diedrich

John Diedrich is an investigative reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Diedrich’s Behind the Gun project was an exhaustive, first-of-its-kind look at gun deaths in the state, including firearm suicide, including among veterans. The series focused on solutions, both personal and systemic to raise awareness of the issue. He is a Pulitzer Prize finalist in Public Service, a George Polk Award and Gerald Loeb Award winner, and a Goldsmith Prize finalist.
