Sabina Ghebremedhin is a 10X Emmy Award-winning television producer for ABC News. She currently serves as the Coordinating Producer overseeing the network’s Race and Culture unit for ABC News, directing and overseeing multi-platform efforts for the team. This is after covering big breaking news, feature and entertainment stories for almost two decades as a producer and coordinating producer for Good Morning America. Sabina is an Emmy award winning journalist and was most recently recognized with a Peabody Award for 20/20: Breonna Taylor: Say Her Name. She also received Front Page and Webby Awards for her work on the cross-platform project “Their Painful Bond: Black Mothers Speak Out Together on Their Unimaginable Loss.” She has produced for several ABC News’ special projects, including: 2020: George Floyd: A Man, A Moment, America Changed. Special Edition of George Floyd’s anniversary, America in Pain, Soul of A Nation, Turning Point Series, and Juneteenth. At her time at ABC News she has landed scores of exclusive interviews on some of the most important and challenging stories, including multiple mass shootings and riots.
