Shernay Williams

Shernay Williams is an independent video journalist and content strategist with 15 years of experience. After launching her career as a local newspaper and TV reporter/anchor, she fell in love with entrepreneurship. She’s run a content firm and served as an entrepreneurship consultant. She launched a national business directory and resources platform for Black entrepreneurs, moms and small-business owners. Her mix of reporting, video producing and panel moderating has appeared in MarketWatch, Barron’s, Fast Company, Comcast Newsmakers, Kiplinger, TheGrio and Ivanhoe Broadcast News. She also serves on the leadership committee of the Institute for Independent Journalists.
