Stephanie Hayes

Stephanie Hayes is a humor columnist with the Tampa Bay Times and syndicated nationally via Creators Syndicate. She also writes a weekly email newsletter, Stephinitely, and runs the Times’ internal training program. She’s a proud Poynter cohort alum! Her writing has appeared in Chicago Quarterly Review, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, GQ.com and more.

Before starting her column, she was a masthead arts and entertainment editor at the Times. She’s the author of the novel OBITCHUARY and is now writing new fiction. She’s learning to play the banjo, which is going poorly. She lives in Dunedin, Florida with her husband, stepdaughter, enormous cat and tiny dog.
