Cable Neuhaus, who joined Folio: from Time Inc.’s Entertainment Weekly magazine last June, was one of about two dozen Primedia employees let go on Thursday. “I was taken by complete surprise,” says Neuhaus. A source tells Reuters: “[Primedia controlling shareholder] KKR wants to sell any number of things including Media Central and New York magazine. …[KRK’s boss] wants to get this down to only the consumer enthusiast (publications).”
